Navigate BlackBoard
Once you have logged in to BlackBoard, you will be greeted by the “My Institution” page. This page contains sections (modules) whose content and layout is customizable and a listing of your courses (also customizable—just click on the yellow pencil in the upper right hand corner of the module, and you can select the courses and announcements you wish to see).
While you can edit the courses you see on the “My Courses” module, the “Courses” tab will ALWAYS contain a comprehensive listing of courses in which you are enrolled. The “Community” tab, like the “Courses” tab, is comprehensive and contains a listing of all organization sites in which you are enrolled. Other tabs include a link to the UT Libraries, a tab dedicated to Technology@UT, which contains many resources for keeping your system secure, etc. There is also a tab dedicated to the current semester’s theme (if any).
To access your courses, click on the “My Institution” tab, select one of your courses from the “My Courses” module, and click on the title. You are in!
