How to use Google Scholar Search in Online@UT

Use Google Scholar Search in an Online@UT course site if you want to store a query that links to search results and to browse the documents pulled by the query.

Quick Steps:

  1. Select Content Area where you want to add search results.
  2. Select “Edit View” link at the top.
  3. From the dropdown list at the top right, select “Google Scholar Search” and then “Go.”
  4. Type the Link Title, explanation of the task in the Description box, and Keywords; then select “Submit” button. The keywords are the search terms that determine your query.
Result: Students can browse the search results and locate electronic and print documents that fit the specified search criteria.

Step by Step:

Step 1: Select Content Area where you want to add search results.
